Title: cherokee axles?
Post by: jonathanhann on April 24, 2009, 09:52:31 PM
Quick question, is a 1995 cherokee diesel axle the same ratio as a 1994 4ltr petrol?
Thanks in advance. Jon

Hi
Apparently not
I iasked the same question about a month ago.. there are many different types of axles .
Some with Limited slip others not.
You probably have the dana 35 axle on yours , not 100% but I am sure I will be corrected by the more experienced on here if I am wrong.

you will have a Dana 35 with 3.55:1 gearing the Deisel has 3.73:1

If you need a rear axle pm 'The Smiths' as he as one, if you want to do a regear to run bigger tyres then I have a pair of 4.10:1 geared axles, basically a Dana 30 front and a Chrysler 8.25 rear
