Completely took apart the XJ's steering. Had the box recoditioned and bought upgraded joints and bars.
So I have no reference for setting the steering and need to get it semi right to drive for an alignment check.
Any tips?
TIA

Hi Mike
Im no expert but i would get a straight plank of wood from yer back wheels as they are fixed, line up best you can and that should be a good starting point.

the front is wider than the back so ya best to just eye up the wheels from a distance and when you are somewhere neer just stick a tape on the fornt inside and the compare it to the back end of the front wheel if ya know what i mean.
also make sure its all done right cos you are playin with your steerin not yer stereo so be safe.
