Post by: mark69 on May 17, 2009, 09:20:48 PM
hi guys, some info please, i have a 1982 cj7 laredo, been working on it the last year finaly got round to putting the origanal front seats back in as its almost finished, but to my suprize the driver seat is about a inch or so lower than the passenger side ! (wen you look at it from the back of the jeep, top of the driver seat  is  lower) is this how it should be ? both of the seats bases look the same , just seems to go wierd on the back support ,  or wen i did repairs to the driver internal frame work did i mess something up ?  many thanks

thanks for the info mate,  mabe i have the passenger seat in the driver place ! ile have to look in to it  betta,  so should the carpet edge on the base/side of seat be on the inside of the jeep or faceing outside ? iv looked about and seen both !! mine is right hand drive, wen i bought the jeep the driver side had some crap seat in its place and the origanal seat was wraped in a black bag needing work !!!!! , so i have not ever had it fitted
