Immobiliser issue

When me GC had its issues at year end it was found to be the passenger door control module needed replacing

Would the remote key fob have needed reprogramming afterwards????.........
Dr Mike, anyone thoughts pls...

The module has to be programmed to accept the remotes IIRC. You need a DRBIII scan tool.

Hmm...so It may have been a good piece of customer service for the garage to have mentioned my spare remote needed rescanning......... :evil:

Is it a dealer only fix for this scan tool???

Well apparantly the spare FOB was knackered and batteries were low...

Got GIVEN! a replacement programmed fob...just waiting for the labour bill... :jump_125:
