Front axle or rear?
Either way it is quite involved but can be done by a good diy'er. I am about to do the rear axle seals on my XJ which should be similar but the fronts mean pulling the diff as the seals are next to the diff carrier bearings.

OH DEAR! I have dug around a little and it seems I am wrong, it is nowhere as simple as the XJ & ZJ rear hub seals

For some reason I can't seem to open the link to the proper write-up on page 2 of the thread. Maybe you have to be a member to see it?
Hope this helps anyway, While you are at it make sure you check the axle breather isn't blocked or kinked as this can cause seepage even when the seals are ok.
