Anyone know what is inside the left hand A pillar on a mk1 cherokee ?  Looking a fitting a a snorkel so might need to drill and bolt a bracket to it. Or where/how does the safari snokel fit at that point

The safarigard snorkel I fitted to mine used 3 holes drilled into the A pillar which then have nylon plugs fitted into them and screws into the plugs hold a bracket/plate that the snorkel fastens to. It doesn't look fantastically strong but mine has taken a few substantial hits and has only moved slightly.
