15 was what some folk were running this weekend I believe

Was going to run my BFG's at 20 but didn't in the end

I run my BFG MTs at 12 PSI offroad no probs as yet, great amounts of grip.  Give it a try next time, just be sure to have someone with a Compressor handy.

Sorry Rooter don't know much about the Good Years but think you can run them as low as the BFGs.

Got one of those Halfords compressors operated from a ciggie lighter but thanks for the advice I'll give it a go next event

I was running MTRs at 15/16ish on the Sat and then put them up to 22 on the Sun. I lost a fair amount of clearance from dropping to 15 but gained a good traction advantage for climbing out of ruts and playing on the rocks. On the Sunday I went up to 22/23 ish and played with that and it seemed better at clearing the belly (Remember I only have a 2.5" lift and 31's) but still gripped fairly well. My MTRs don't have the "Beadlock" type rim that the BFG's have so I would be tempted to keep them a little higher.

The other thing I noticed was that both the tyres I saw that had pushed mud down the rim were running on full pressure...

Woody is spot on! I run my Goodyear MTRs (33 x 12.5) at 12 offroad and LOVE IT!
