Stew's 2" Lift Spacers
« on: October 03, 2005, 09:40:43 PM »

Quick question, will standard springs on a TJ dislocate if using 2" spacer blocks and discos?
Just organised doing Stew's lift but need to know if the spacers need tie wrapping/bolting in or if they will stay put?

cheers

BTW Stew is doing his best to drink Cornwall dry on his hols

i have fitted spacers on a wrangler some time ago i admit but i seem to remember that they fitted on the top of the springs and the rubber kept them in place. could be wrong!!! the spring clip is on the bottom perch. this i know for sure.
what about those a.c.o.s things?

they will stay in place mate. when we took em off mandas buggy we had to beat the crap out of them. they are a tight fit over the bump stop (front) and  a tight fit on the bottom on the rear. never seen em unseat either. 8)
