« on: June 29, 2010, 09:20:06 PM »

Just fitted some front fogs, a gift from my son farthers day,  they came a couple of days ago very unexpected from usa, now my problem is they bolt up ok and plug into the bumper wiring , but i have no front fog switch on the console :icon_eek: will i have to buy a switch cluster with the extra front fog rocker? and is it wired up to the back of the consol ready to plug in?  i've checked pdc for the front fog relay and its missing will have to get one any thoughts............ :icon_rolleyes:

Fog lights have a beam pattern that points low, and is meant to be used in conjunction
with dipped headlights. However, plod don't like fog lights when it isn't foggy, so best to
put them on their own switch. Wiring them to the main beam is somewhat pointless, as
they point down. If they were driving lights/spotlights instead, wiring them to the main
beam would make sense.

If you fit the relay and the 4 switch assembly from a Limited they should work.
