was referring to the fooooooook it till it moves bit although having said that i wasnt aware that the isle of man was reknown for its tea and coffee plantations

its a real nice job james very nice indeed makes the 2.8turbo diahatsu engine i fitted look like the chain on the engine hoist broke and i just shut the bonnet on it

The Toyota 3.0TD (1KZ-T) mine came from my old 1996 4runner. I did originally put a normal 2.4D Hilux engine and box in the old girl but the 31" tyres i had on at the time meant it was rather underpowered

Nice choice. On the theme, I say an eBay auction for a P38 rangie with a 2.8 Nissan diesel fitted (from a Patrol?) - it was a new crate engine and the work was done by Frogs Island 4x4 in Oxford. I've heard good things about that engine so it might be another choice for the original poster.

*cough* I have a Nissan SD35 (or is it FD) Turbo 4cyl Diesel here for only £250 Mooooolar!!!! over 300lbs torque.
