grand cherry squeek

hi
when i start my 1998 grand ch 4.00 l i get sqeeking noise
from somewhere in front.
sounds like a slipping fanbelt but isnt
gets worse when i put lights/heater on
goes away when i put lights/heater off
any ideas

sounds like you need a new serpentine belt or tensioner
