A tale of woe! 2003,2.7 crd

Well after almost 6 weeks of hassle i still havent fixed the jeep. My strange electrical faults were eventually diagnosed as an ecu failure, the unit was sent to BBA reman, who subsequently sent it off to Bosch for additional "diagnosis" after intially being told the ecu was not faulty it turns out it now is. Its taken almost a month to work that one out. Im now faced with the prosepct of fitting an untested unit (if i can find one) to the jeep then getting it chipped to the car (£80) just to see if it works. My concern is that if i find one im unlikely to get any sort of warranty if it has to be opened to remove and reprogramme the immobilisers into it. Bosch apparently are unable to supply new ecu's for this car which i find really strange and a little worrying.
Im beginning to think this car is going to cost me money.....lots of it!
if anyone has ideas of where to purchase a secondhand ecu from id really appriciate it!
