Will 265/6517 mud terrain tyres 1. fit the OE rims ok 2. Rub any where too bad
i intend to get a 2"BB in the future but need tyres now and a meate has a set of 4 for £220
Your help would be great

The accepted largest tyre for a WJ is 245/75R16. That gives you a diameter or 30.5"
A 265/65R17 gives you a diameter of 30.6". Pretty close. It's the width that's the issue though.
You're going from 235 to 265, which is a 30mm difference. The tyre will fit, but some rubbing
will occur. Drive in straight lines and you'll be fine.

chuck em on, you may get rubbing on the front lower lip of the front bumper, nothing too bad though. Diesels sit a little higher than petrols so I think you will be okay
