full lenth compressed & extended of the complete shaft, length of the single UJ end from centre of the uj to weld on the shaft and length of the DC joint from weld on to the shaft to centre of its outer UJ.

Planning to get 2 made into a double DC prop for the Grand

Thanks Dave  :icon_super:

Tom Woods recommends a double DC driveshaft at 4" or up on a WJ, I only want to get one built once, and its cheaper building one up from 2 old xj front shafts

I would just say I have read a lot about tom woods and as a lot pf people have pointed out on american forums, he is in business to make money, so he does  ( like all) recomend  the more expensive options, even if they make no difference to performance. I would  opt for the other way round myself

What joint are you going for at Tom Woods???

I would also recomend the DC at 4" lift.
