As part of my disatorous bitch of a day I need to identify this little gizmo
It normally sits bolted onto the fuel rail and the plastic tube (now broken) heads off to god only knows where.
Basically i set off to replace the thermostat on my 2.7crd. When i tried to move some of the low pressure fuel hoses out of the way, CRACK! , broken
I ended up with 3 broken ends no obvious spots to push em into except each other. I manged to work out the LP fuel delivery and got the car running but it seems to run fine without this thing!!!!
I suspect its the bit where they attach a pump to bleed the fuel system (ironically as mentioned in another recent thread)
Am i correct and will it run ok without it
?
Cheers folks , your help is much appreciated
