Today,
whilst changing the rear halfshaft seals & bearings,
I noticed cracked paint on the chassis rail around the anti-roll bar mounts, further investigation found
this

On a separate subject, how did you get the new bearing and retainer back onto the shaft? I've got a seal leak on my 2000 WG Dana 44a and am just mulling how to fix it...
