Cost of a new belt from City and County in Worcester was £36.
Thats what I have just paid for one.
I had to have one when my water pump went, and the pullys chewed up a perfectly good belt

No problems, easy to put on.
Go on mate, have a go, do a drawing of how the old one goes round the pulleys, slacken the centre bolt, wind the adjuster down and youre virtually done, fitting is the reverse.

Sorry for the late reply guys....and thanks for the help  , so I`ll get one from somewhere and fit it myself if it`s as easy as you lot say !
I take it you dont have to worry about timing, and bending valves ect. ?
Thanx again

No need to worry about timing etc, just stick it on mate.
It only powers the alternator, water pump, power steering and probably a/c if you have it
