how bout this one for the boss: http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p9026/Momo-Steering-Boss-for-JEEP-CJ7-No-Airbag/product_info.html

this steering wheel: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320651379064&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1283wt_989

does that work as a package?

im pretty sure the stock steering wheel is 15-16" so dont really wanna go lower than 14" on summink the size of the Bastard

Have I found the cheaper and more efficient solution?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Quick-Release-Splined-Steering-Hub-Black-/160601154174?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item256493227e#ht_2119wt_953

The steering wheel they do with it is only 1/2" less wide as well

restarted from afresh for the Chief, figured it wouldnt hurt to try from a different angle rather than copying the old set up: this time i worked from the steering wheel and back

the last search was for the J10, which should work fine but was painful financially, and of course started with the hub
