think you need to buy one or modify one,the other can be used ,ask NB as I think he did the mod bit to get his to fit.

the chassis mounts used to be cheap but that is no longer the case  the pass side chassis one can be used as it  if you truck is rhd the left hand one can be used by welding a flat plate over the dip and re drilling

the biggy as to wether it all lines up is weather your engine has got the metal mounts for a cj or a fullsize i like to use the right part but its not a big bind if you need to fabricate

best thing then is get it bolted to the box whilst still on the hoist so you can see where everything wants to play nice and then get jiggy with the welder

i always liked to buy the right parts in for the factory look install   but there's no reason not to modify your own

what i did was to buy the engine side brackets (think I paid £70 inc all duty) and the chassis side saw a simple mod, the short one is fine as is and the long one I cut out the top bit with the slots in it out of the donor Chief mount and grafted it into the CJ 256i6 mount that i already had from previous install

I brought genuine ones, yes one of them is the same but the other one is way off, I figured it was just easier to buy the correct ones so I knew it would line up with the factory chassis holes and the engine would sit in the correct position (front to back) I brought them off 4wd Hardware, got the rubber mounts as well
