Crank Position Sensor Connector
« on: October 05, 2012, 07:41:49 PM »

Had problems with rough running, cutting out and 1391 fault code. Replaced crank position sensor and ran great for a couple of days. Then just refused to start or popped, banged and died. 1391 code again. Found I could get engine to run or fail by moving connector around. I suspect one of the cores into the connector on the loom side has broken internally. Other than getting a replacement from a scrapper and splicing it in does anyone know if they can be sourced elsewhere?  2000 WJ Grand Cherokee 4.0. Thanks Andy.
