Wrangler tj cat

Folks just wondering if anyone has binned the cat on a wrangler tj??? Mines shot and thinking of a bypass... Will this mess with any sensors or emissions??

What year is your TJ? If after 2004 your stuffed!!! Pre that you have a options, all will cost much moooooolar though.

Give Top Gear in Aylesbury a call, they can sort you out a CAT that will be just as good as factory but for much less dosh

It's a 97 s reg 6 cyl tj... Cats rattling... Good time to get a cat back too.

Make sure you weigh in the old cat. OEM cats are worth a few bob. I've had two OEM cats break up in the past and decided to go for a Random Technology Super Stainless cat the second time. It cost a lot but has a stainless steel matrix so won't crack like the ceramic matrix does.

It just past it's mot today... I'm thinking getting a local place make me a stainless cat back and flanged cat bypass stainless so I can slip the cat back in next mot time.. But never thought of a stainless cat.... Mmm
