cheers for you reply wildwood, that does seem an easier option. Do all the 2.5's have these magic 4.10's
And if I decided to go to go this route what lockers would you reccommend? as I'm hoping this one will be nice and capable
I'm trying to weigh up the options so please bare with me here. The G wagon rear has a factory locker which will need me to supply either compressed air or hook up some sort of hydraulic option. It also needs to be reassembled so I'll need bearings and the rest. It also needs prop and breaks sorted which will mean a disc conversion, calipers etc. On top of that the front will need the re-gear to the front as mentioned in my firts post so realistically how many beer tokens do you rekon this will end up at
On the plus side I'm not bad with the spanners and have a mate who is extremely creative with machineing and fabrication.
The jeep will be running the same 4" lift you had on your old YJ which Robsrotti has now. so the world seems quite small in jeepland
