Old man emu 2" lift

I want to fit ome lift to my 2001 tj but the rear trackbar is in a different place on axle compared to some of the us forum sites and the original bracket supplied with ome kit looks like it wont fit ,do i need a new rear trackbar aswell cheers chris

I thought the OME kit consisted purely of Springs & shocks ... at least mine did ! What am I missing ?

What's included in an OME kit depends where you source it. Some "kits" consist of 4 x springs + 4 x shocks while others also include 2 x trim packers that may be needed to even out ride height and a rear trackbar relocation bracket.

Can't see why US and UK models would be different so far as the trackbar bracket is concerned. Take a look at http://http://members.cox.net/rough-riders/tech_page/emu/EMU.html and check whether the bracket position is same as yours.

We've found the trackbar relocation bracket with most lift kits are for left hand drive vehicles, they can easily be adapted to fit though.

all the ones i know of so far have been opposite hand to what you actualy need but as manda said the bracket can be modified to fit. 8)
