Rear shock mounts
« on: March 27, 2006, 07:13:35 AM »

Hi

I managed to shear off two rear shock upper mounting bolts (one each side!) this weekend, is there a kit to reposition the upper shock mount points, or is my only route to drill out and replace with nut & bolt?

Thank's

Drill out existing - you can either tap out to next size up, or we drilled out to larger size then blobbed a nut on to a length of welding rod, fed it through hole in chassis and sat it on top of the old nut. Ba5tard of a job due to shite design! Good luck
