Found out why the YJ keeps cutting out (and the fuel gauge spiking at the same time) since the parking brake recall was done. Took it back to the stealership that did the work, and the mechanic found that the main connector under the dash has a dodgy connection (corrosion?) which was aggravated by being dislodged due to the new parking brake bracket.
He also fixed the wire that he'd pinched under the bracket when he installed it... (earth wire for electronic idle controller)
Got home and investigated why my speedo had gone "night night" 1/2 way to work that morning. The nylon gear in the TCase was not engaging properly. This can be adjusted.
