so went to adjust the handbrake for the MOT (last job on the list) started on the load balancer and with a small adjustment the parking pedal went solid, Great I thought, but no, wheels still spun unhindered, with some further investigation found that both cables from the load balancer to the hubs have seized solid
have a long shot, removed the cables and they are now soaking in oil, with luck and some brute force they may move tomorrow....

Mine did the same thing, tried soaking them but they always remain stiff and will need to be replaced. You should be able to have some made up fairly cheap in the UK.

Try soaking them in diesel, they might stink for a while but it should work
failing that lighthouse maybe ?

can get from lighthouse for £50 or eBay for £35 the pair delivered, just don't want to buy new if I can service the old, anyway will know in a few hrs

all done ready for MOT, will need new shoes and pos springs soon but enough life in em for the test
