DIY LJ
« on: June 10, 2014, 12:31:17 PM »

Now here's some 'ramblin on' cos I've stopped for lunch...... :icon_biggrin:

We didn't get the LJ in Blighty....or if we did I've never seen one......

So a few TJ stretch posts on Pirate and a couple have done em really quite well

Tis just a chop and stretch of a TJ but even. In the US of A  the LJ is lots of coin......

Makes for a CJ8 looking vehicle with family space........

The trick is to get the soft top belt rails to get the rear tub to correct length, then you'll have to save for a spendy LJ softop.

Tempted........Yes

And I know where an unloved TJ Tis lurking for affordable coin :icon_twisted:

Just a lunchtime ramble......

Would be most interested in how this works out. Often thought how nice an LJ would be.

That would be very cool indeed.
The only LJ I've ever been aware of in this country was a written off one (frontal damage) going for about £4000 iirc, and I think it may have been a Rubicon.

I would really really like one of these
I drove one in the US (greedy bugger had 2 one red one yellow - called them ketchup and mustard)  they were both rubi's as well
Much better drive than a tj (less choppy) especially going up or down a hill
and room to swing at least half a cat
