XJ losing power HELP!
« on: May 07, 2006, 08:30:07 PM »

hi
on our way home from picking the new jeep up. after about 30-40 miles of driving on the motor way doing aroung 60-70 mph. it kept losing power and back firing through the snorkle, but when we let it cool down for 10 minutes it was fine and drove on for another 30-40 miles anyone got idea what could be causing this? its a '94 cheokee.
thanx josh

Wonder if this could be 'cat' related?
It's worth checking to see if it has collapsed, or is blocked somewhere!
