so here's one for you Gaz.....
Had a ZX10r out for 21/2 hrs on Sat dry country roads and oh my god a quick shifter......
Tis love I tell YA.........lhandles  soooooooo sweet and full throttle seamless up shifts........oh yes!

You did threaten you were going to try the 10  ........ Sexy quick shifter  :icon_eek: :icon_eek:

So seemless clutchless changes at warp speed  :icon_super:  ......... never ridden a bike with one, dumb ass question, does it work going down the box too ?

However sexy the 10, surely your not gonna trade in the hyperspace 1400 ???

I can recomend some very good after market pipes .... oh hang on  :003: :icon_super: :icon_super:

The hyperspace 1400 has got to stay due to its continent crossing ability......but a quickshifter might grace its flanks.......
But the 10makes it feel like a bus on the tight lanes(tracks)

So I might throw caution to the wind with this zero % finance stuff and run both for maybe 2 to 3 years until one raises its head as the only one to keep.......

Tis me age matron....   I was on the 10 for 2 hrs and no prob....... But motorways????? For 400 mile days? I don't know.....

The new BMWSr1000 rr thing has up and down on the quick shifter.....

But we're not old enough for Hitlers Tractor are we!!!! :icon_twisted:

think about it.... the system kills the ignitiion for a split second to allow the gear change so to simulate a very quick throttle off as a normal bike.
changing down in the same manner will end up at her majesties pleasure looking at nurses while you recover.

a slipper clutch requires fitting to allow for high rev down changes but this still doesn't guarantee the engine not locking the rear wheel due to over revving.

That was really where I was heading but didnt type it very well  :003: .... what I should have said was is it linked upto a fancy slipper clutch come traction control set up either electronic or mechanical.
