« on: May 27, 2006, 11:17:07 AM »

Back again with my failed MOT (sorted the steering)

Need a seat belt for the front near side - been quoted £90 so far - seems alot.

Any better options?? - will a different belt fit (scrapyard)

I had trouble with the seat belts on the CJ. The cowboy before me had hashed them up.

I took the lap belts from the rear and use them on the front.

Not sure if this is entirely legal, but it did pass the MOT like this.

What wrong with the seatbelt? Has it ripped or frayed?

Its been trapped in the door mechanism a few times over the years so its rough and frayed

Had no joy with the local scrappers
