I'm talking to them about poss lifting the kj.

I've read only very good things, but has anyone dealt with them? Any experience of their work or customer service?

Customer service is great. Very friendly people.

As far as work goes I know Mort has had work done by them and has only said good things.

If your going for a simple lift (I am assuming based on my experiences with my TJ's) you should be able to do the work yourself?

There's 2 problems with that, sadly -

1) je suis un durr-brain

2)kj is IFS of course, so all complicated gubbins. Have to dismantle half the engine compartment to get to the top of the struts

Nothing but good things to says about Chris & Co.  He's fitted my lift, snorkel, R&Ps, ARBs, Short Shaft Conversion, etc - and I can thoroughly recommend him.

He's very knowledgeable (Jeep chose him to build their Rubicon I XJ and Rubicon II TJ) and he'll give you straight advice, and won't try to sell you something you don't need or want.  10/10 from me.

Why don't you speak to Steve at FTE, he's only down the road from you in Wickford. He does the Jeeps for Chrysler.

Both Chris and Steve are really, really, really good, both have done commissioned work for Chrysler, both are are really nice blokes who will help you learn about what will and won't work and won't just tell you what you need or MUST have.

Steve's 20 mins away.
