starting problems!!!!

ive got a 97 r cherokee 2.5 petrol
turns but wont start!!! no spark at the dizzy and no fuel to injectors...., i was just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.  and some advice would be greatfull as i aint paying stealership prices!!!!!
