I'm pretty sure my drivers window lock overide on my 1995 XJ is locked on all the time. I can make all the windows go up and down from my door but passengers can't control their own.

I'm guessing the override switch on the drivers door has failed as turning it off doesn't fit it. Does anybody know if this is certainly the issue and how I could bypass it?

exact same problem on mine when i bought it (lock button was stuck on mine too) - i just got a new master switch for passenger door from an ebay scrapper for a £10 and solved it

yeah the whole thing is a sealed unit of the group of switches for the doors and windows and it cant be fiddled with (yes i tried). Good look with the search for one
