Sorry got another one!!! question that is

I have had a fella ask me if my cj7 doors and screen will fit his fibre glass Eagle jeep?? He also wanted to know if a cj /yj hard top would fit..So i shugged me shoulders and said i would ask on here hope you dont mind i can see i'am becoming a bit of a pain  8)  :wink:

i aint sure how a close a copy the eagle was really. i doubt the doors will fit as i think the opening on the kit is bigger. but like i say i aint sure. the only real way is to try em i guess 8)

I think they just might be made to fit depending on how capable the fitter is.
I'm just trying to work out how they got to the RV Eagle in the first place.
I'd imagine they got hold of a tired CJ7 body, bolted on stupid wheel arches, fixed windscreen, etc etc, trowled on a ton of filler, then made a female GRP mould from it.
If they didn't stretch the wheelbase or the width or anything, I don't see why not.

HI guys,
I think you may be right..He did say one thing that i thought was strange :?  :? He said the screen was seperate in fibre glass :? I thought the eagle had a sold screen and was part of the body..A bit like the rear tailgate thats a solid part of the body also..which his has???  :? Strange!!!

there are two icarnations of the eagle the fist car cortina :?:  based and the later 4x4 one and my understanding is that they look the same but the fixtures and fittings differ and the screen maywell be one the  hoods are an ad contraption on the  eagle also 80% sure the tub is wider by an inch maybe two than a cj
