Jeep wrangler alternaot problem

Jeep wrangler 1993 YJ 2.5 l petrol
Check engine dash light came on,replaced Alternator and battery but still same problem----battery not holding charge and volt dash meter reading 9v only any advice??????

an introduction would be nice mate. as for your problem have you tested that the battery is receiving charge from the alternator? is your engine earth secure?

If the Alty and Battery are new then its got to be connection problems.
