There's nothing special about Jeeps, especially older ones, that any competant backstreet garage couldn't tackle.

yep, jeep axles ain't special either. any axle specialist will do
whats up with your axle ?
Yes, mark is very good
but, be prepared to have deep, deep  pockets
as for the roof tent, import one from the states unless you want to be ass raped, by the usual suspects :?

Find a local axle / transmission place to re-build the rear axle.

Mark at MDG knows a lot and does good work but you'll pay for the privilege and probably be told that 5 other jobs HAVE to be done on your Jeep.

Roof tent - you might find a good deal from Landrover (TATA ) outfitters.

axle work can be done by lots of places that do that sort of motors. as for so called specialists they wont ever see any of my money unless they show some kind of value for maney. its just like payin £350 for a service that you can do yourself for about £30. get your truck or just send your axle to Mik from rednex who will rebuild your axle to a top standard and he wont fleece you for it. 8)

Mark at MDG is a top bloke who dose a top job, if it’s cheap you are after, you can find thousands of garages that will do that for you. I have had loads of good advise of him and he has never charged me a penny.
