Purchased a tubelar one cheap of the 'bay' (toyota I think)
Question is, where do the factory fitted ones mount? - I'm guessing that they bolt to the tow hook mounting brackets.
If that is the case, I need to fit an additional one for the o/s/f mount, as my 98td only has the nearside tow hook bracket fitted.
I've ground off the welded (toyota) mounts & plan to fab' some 'xj' brackets, but need to know for sure where they connect to the uni-body.
Any info/pics of the mounting points would be of great help to my diy project.
