Rear Diff Fluid change
« on: December 12, 2008, 01:26:09 PM »

I want to change the fluid for the rear diff of my 98 GC.

Is this a difficult job or should I leave it to a garage?

I moved into a new place last week with a brand new garage...so immedialy spotted that I had a leak...

have a big container put under diff, take back plate off, oil falls into large container.

inspect for little bits of metal, replace cover with new sealant, fill up to the level of the fill hole

job done
