front drive shaft

Hey was just after some advice if possible.I m after a drivers side front drive shaft,for a jeep wrangler 4.0ltr.would a drive shaft off a cherokee fit.any help would be great thanks. :-)

If it's a YJ, no. If it's a TJ, Yes but it may have a smaller UJ if it's from a non ABS XJ.

A friend and I tried to fit a XJ front shaft to an XJ.  It will not fit.  It is different.

i know this may be a stupid question,but whats the difference between a yj, tj and a xj???I know i got a tj lol.

sounds like he was shafted on the drive shaft......xj not fitting an xj......LOL
