TJ manifold help
« on: June 17, 2008, 12:39:14 AM »

I need some advice on how to remove the plastic wire cover that is attached to three studs on my TJ Wrangler inlet/outlet manifold.

the cover hoses wires that are connected to the fuel injectors and runs parrallel between the head cover and the fuel rail.

I've tried prising it with a screw driver but dont want the plastic to break.
it looks like it is just clipped on and there must be some sort of release tab, but I cant figure it out.

hi mate. in the photo you can see what looks like little windows with plastic hooks sticking through along the side of the plastic casing. i think if you lever the hooks into the windows the channel shaped piece will lift off leaving the fixed part attached to the engine. i think. hope that makes sense. 8-)
