Bloody expensive breakers though, I avoid them as a matter of principle, only as a last resort.bill
Do you have any diesel Japanese trucks - Toyota Landcruiser, Nissan Patrol, any of the pick-ups??Where abouts in Canada are you? I got the impression when I was over there in the winter that diesels weren't very popular because of the cold weather problems they can have??

I have relatives to the east of Toronto (Bowmanville/Clarington) and it definitely gets cold there I was thinking that it might be better to swap in an engine that you can get spares a little easier for. The 2.5 VM engine tends to need looking after and a lot of owners here seem to be replacing parts fairly frequently (compared to 4.0 drivers). I don't know a great deal about the engine but it doesn't have the best reputation.
