are they standard hight mounts? they will give much more engine feed back as they dont give like the rubber ones.

yes greggmo they`re standard height.
 I genuinely won`t mind if the vibration is normal but it seems a bit much (dash vibrates and you can feel it in the pedals and the passenger footwell)
  I only nipped them up to avoid excess `feedback`. I`ll have another  look tommorow.

the thing is with engine mounts is that they are designed to absorb the engine vibration and the rubber is "tuned" to do that. swapping to poly bushes does away with everything that was done in the development stages so you will then get all the vibration given out from the engine when running. As you have found this vibration is felt in the pedals/dashboard and you should aslo feel it in the steering wheel and seat. Altering the torque on the bolt will not help much and leaving it slightly nipped up could cause it to vibrate loose. the only rela way to reduce this vibration and be the same as it was is to go back to the std rubber bushes, not sure if they poly ones can be pushed out and a set of std ones inserted

if you have too much vibration the transmission mount maybe knackered

theres some info in the instruction book about it i think.

i've had mine in for about a year now and with the mud tyres and johnny joints its hardly noticable .

also it made my jeep feel more responsive under acceleration cause the engine isn't flapping about in the bay  :-D

Its not as bad as it seems. I`m a flapping bastard. I like things to be 100%.
   As fucked up and `boy racery` as it sounds it DOES pull away from either still or moving noticebly quicker.
  I have one of those Stainless manifolds too, it`ll be going on this week coming. I don`t expect any noticeable difference when thats on though.

These mounts are available with Ultra-Flex Rubber or Classic Polyurethane. You might want to contact the factory and see if you could swap the inserts to the rubber type.
