Autoboxes
« on: January 04, 2009, 02:38:47 PM »

Looking for info here!

I have a dead 32RH autobox out of a YJ sitting in the workshop that either needs rebuilding or replacing.

Has anyone rebuilt one? Can't find any rebuild parts available, but they're supposed to be a re-identified TF999. Is this right?

And apparently, the internals are the same as the heavier duty TF727. Again, is this right?

The Jeep sucked in water through the stupidly placed breather hole and has completely lost drive, what's most likely to be fried?

Any help gratefully received!! :-D

I actually found the most usefull info about my tf999 on wikipedia.
Rebuild kits available on eBlag USA but watch the quality.
