Overhead comp question
« on: February 07, 2009, 06:10:26 PM »

Right, I've had my bargain 1994 'M' Reg Cherokee 4.0L Limited delivered today. It's far better than it's £160 price tag suggests - it's even got 3 days MOT and 3 months tax left which weren't in the advert! Came with a Haynes book too! lol Hell, even the spare tyre is brand spanking new and there isn't a square mm of rust anywhere on the body.

Anyway, the only thing I've found that doesn't appear to be working yet is the overhead computer thingy. It displays the temperature and the direction fine (and switches between metric/imperial measurements ok), but if i press the 'comp' button, the display goes blank. Should it do something, or do I not know how to work it?  :?:

Cheers, Martin
