Has now been collected, bargain for £50, complete with disks too  :-D

Also getting a prop flange adaptor from them.
The ford axle certainly looks stronger than the dana35, will rebuild the brakes & put new solid lines, disks & pads on too, only plan to do this once

It's a good and strong axle and it'll take big tyres and horsepower quite easily. The only thing to bear in mind is the size of the diff pumpkin, it's pretty big and you might have to negotiate it around obstacles offroad. It might be possible to shave some off the bottom too. Keep the build-up pics coming!  :-)

the guy's in the states shave a fair bit of the base to make it flat, then weld a substantial plate in the hole to allow for ground clearance.
