Thermal circuit breaker. If you have a prpblem with one, it's usually a rotten connectoe under the sopping wet carpet.

in the process of ripping mine out to swap for leather. there is one power connector on the left hand side buried underneath the carpet, this corrodes badle causing them to fail. could not trace back to a fuse but connecting 12v to them makes the seats work fine. If you have an issue you could fit a fuse into the +12v wire.

had lekky grey cloth fronts, now swapping to the cream leather ones i got from Rob. Driverside has busted seat rail which can be rewelded but i have no welder.

I just bought a good grey leather set fronts and back with door cards for £50

Guy I got the 4.0 engine off got £75 for the full leather interior out of his XJ :greggmo:

you dont have to wire them in you know, they will stay where you last put them, although if they are heated ones it may be worth that extra effort as it does get very cold in an old CJ in the winter (and summer for that matter too :icon_rolleyes:)

don't the heated seats keep breaking, so just have a spare blanket in case the passenger gets cold.
