If it's similar to mine, the front grill is in three bits.  Take the centre grill bit off (3 or 4 screws inside top edge of grill openings) then take the light surounds off (Fixed in the same kinda way) and Robert's your mothers brother!

You have to remove the dummy side marker lens (2 screws)
There are two screws behind this, then another two in the front of the plastic headlamp surround. then it comes out. You don't have to remove the grille. Then the headlamp is just held in with a metal ring secured with more screws.

[Waits for it to catch fire]

Well done mate....

You've done most the work, just want a relay feed from the headlight Main Beam +12 into the switch of the relay, then cut the relay into your wiring and you have it with main beam... you've done all the hard bit getting the wires into the cab without creating a gaping hole in the firewall :)

I think I have a wiring diag that I did somewhere...

Will look it out.

Cheers for the advice there Ed matey! But turn switch on in cab, lights go on, turn switch off, lights go off! If i try to complicate that I will end up fucking it up again!
Part from that I got 2 of my work team to do it and in return I let them go early! :D

I had KCs with the 150W sealed beams. They're great for 'froading as the reflectors don't get trashed every time you dunk them and if they get bust just stick another sealed beam unit in for about £15. Good for melting slow moving Nissan Micras too.
