tyre sizes

hi guys any one know if 265/70/15 tyres are the same size as 31/10.5/15 tyres ??????

yep thanks bd, just the ticket, appears to be exactly the same , well maybe a gnats knacker in it. but hey with warm days and cold days will take care of that lol :hysterical:

265/70x15 calcs to 29.606"

Arr. NB is right, you need 265/75R15 to be the same as 31s. 265/70R15 is only 30" tall,
though as wide as a 31.

calculated size and actual size are two different things.

the tyres fitted to mine are 265/75/16 (kingpin mud tracker) and these measure 30" in diameter, claculated is 31.64

looks like i might need some bigger tyres
