I was looking at doing the XJ/TJ 4.0l swap in mt CJ6, but remember the transferbox attached to the AX15 has the front drive shaft on the opposite side to the CJ's, so you can adapt a Dana 20/300 but the adapters aren't cheap. The next thing is the wiring, again can be achieved and there is kits you can buy but these also aren't cheap. So you may be able to get the engine cheap but the rest of the mod costs
