KJ fuel leak
«

ok as it says.
pouring from underneath in middle and down back axles, thankfully switches to lpg quicker in these warmer days... lost a whole tank on the 25 mile journey home, only kettle size tank as its gas but even with no fuel pump pressure, its still falling out
no off roading/bumps cant understand it? could this have something to do with all the abs sensors recently replaced?
thanks in advance

shut up twit!
You have an under floor tank don't you? Its gonna be a case of stick you head underneath, either split or loose lines or your petrol tank has split

Yes, as scrw says, I had this in the snow and it was where a ubber hose had come off from a hard metal fuel line - really easy to fix with a new jubilee clip. BUT, I had to remove fuel tank skid, towbar...
Just a case of getting under it with a torch and seeing where the fuel is coming from - I'd guess it's a connection gone or a split/worn hose from the position you mentioned.

If on the other hand it turns out to be the tank, a get you home type fix that actually works for quite some time, or until it rains, is to rub a bar of soap across the crack.
Start at one end of the crack/split just to give it a chance to slow the leak down and as you work the soap reacts with the fuel and makes a seal.
I know it sounds like eggs or curry powder to fix a leaky rad but I always carry one of those cute bars of soap you get from hotels if i'm going off the beaten track!
The worst that can happen is you can use it to wash your feet after a nice paddle!
